INTERORGANIZATIONAL LEARNING AND ABSORPTIVE CAPACITY: EMPIRICAL RESEARCH IN SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES

ABSTRACT Purpose: This research analyzes the influence of interorganizational learning (IOL) on absorptive (Acap), potential (Pacap) and realized (Racap) capacities environment small medium enterprises (SMEs). Originality/value: The study contributed to understanding expansion IOL operationalized through elements Acap. these are fundamental for development competencies SMEs from Brazil and/or emerging countries embedded dynamic sectors high technology mobility adapt develop new capabilities. Design/methodology/approach: was conducted by a survey with sample 215 organizations information communication (ITC) sector in State Santa Catarina, Brazil. data were analyzed using structural equation modeling technique.
